Democrats served notice Tuesday that they will slow or stop most Senate business if Republicans unilaterally change the rules to assure confirmation of President Bush's controversial court appointments.

I stopped reading right there. There is enough bias in the first sentence to qualify this article as trash.

if Republicans unilaterally change the rules

They always call it "unilateral" when they don't like what's going on? It's like they learned a new word and look for any opportunity to use it.

No kidding.

...if Republicans unilaterally change the rules to assure confirmation of President Bush's controversial court appointments.

What a bunch of crap. All it would do is allow debate and a vote on judicial nominees. The assurance of confirmation came from the vote of American people. No bias from AP here. None whatsoever.
