The advantage of making my own cigarettes means not having to run out at 11pm for them!!!!
But, all kidding aside, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know what types of places to avoid after dark, or in the daylight for that matter.
I can only commend the actions of this security guard........he did his job and did it well.

I see what you mean. You are not off by much at all. I thought I left those things in LA, but I guess they followed me here. Fortunately here average, law abiding, people can pack weapons pretty freely. At least we can fight back.

Most of the symptoms you mention are more pervasive in northern Virginia, and the Tidewater area (Hampton included) than they are in most other places, but they are getting worse everywhere.
I live in Chesterfield County, which is a higher income bedroom community just south of Richmond. Its not too bad here.........yet.

I don't think he hit what he was aiming for..... I think he missed.
Do this test, 5 yard stress fire from holstered position. One shot, your starter starts you at random. It was a good outcome but he was probably bringing the gun up, aiming at center of mass and just pulled up a little.
IPSC shooting is close to this type of shooting... really fun and lots of stress firing.
thank God he hit the perp and everybody went home safe and sound.

Just saw a local news report on that. They appear to have gone the P.C. route, and now the Fulton County Sheriff Deputies doing courthouse security will only have tasers, mace, batons, and such.
