I live in Georgia with my sweetheart of 11 years, near where I grew up. I work in the picture framing industry. I grew up in a stable, loving family with two sisters, 7 and 9 years older. I did all the things kids did in the 70's ..... sports (organized AND unorganized), skateboarded, rode bikes (motorized AND unmotorized), and fished. I grew up in the same Presbyterian church that I still attend. My mom was the organist, and then choir director there. This started me on my journey as a musician, specifically a drummer. I sang in the adult choir as a teenager, and at the same time taught myself to play R&R drums. My folks sent me to private school, where I got a better than average education. I'm real thankful for that. In my 20's I formed The Grapes with my buddy, Charlie, who is a bassist. We were all Deadheads, and we started our own little 'Long Strange Trip'. After a number of years traveling, playing, and partying, I had become a hopeless heroin addict. I left the band, and had some rough years finding my way out of addiction. In '96, I met my sweetheart, and things quickly began to fall into place. I found my way back to God, and with His help, I have become a happy, blessed person. I have a good job, a great woman in my life, a loving family, and good health. I took up golf a few years back, and have become hopelessly addicted to the sport. Not a problem, as it is at least good for my health, and I get to spend time with buddies out on the course. It's great to still be here after 42 years!
