So far, the terrorists have lost far more than they have gained. Afghanistan gone over to democracy, along with Iraq. Lebanon is ready for freedom and so is Iran. Egypt is holding elections.

Another big terrorist attack will turn up the heat even more. It is not pleasant thinking about what their next target could be. I can think of a few not in the story, and I'm sure many can, but I don't even want to put those thoughts in print.
