I'm fairly confident that you will not be "flamed" for that comment. While there are many 2nd Amendment folks on this board, I'm sure that they will all agree that AK-47's have no business in the hands of kids.
Kids should be trained on ak74's, since they have less recoil than an ak47.

I would bet the possession of the arm by the shooters was already illegal. It's just that bad guys pay no attention to the laws.
I'll agree to that...
Odd isnt it, as the Assault Weapons Ban expires..the MSM has put a large emphasis on the number and details of shootings.
The families are in my prayers.
Well the recoil is a bit much for them. Kids should stick to 10-22s and AR-15s.
Nowhere in the article did it mention the AK-47 was in the hands of "kids" Or did i miss it?
WHAT? Haven't you ever seen "Red Dawn?" (:-) I had the opportunity to stop some violent crimes before I turned 18. Fortunately guns weren't involved.
Does the second ammendment apply only to adults? What about the first? Alot of American young men fought when they were under 18.
I think kids should be taught firearm safety and when I was 16 and my parents left for a while I had access to their revolver. Never did anything stupid or harmful either.
