I noticed that as well. The next paragraph should have read.."the policeman immediately fired a score of rounds into the shooters car fatally wounding the shooter and ending the incident"
Instead we get a lock down and ineptness.

It does not even say if the police fired back. My gosh, they should have at the LEAST blown the tires of the car and slowed the killers down and then got them. SCAREY.

For high-schoolers? I don't know about that one. A lot of the kids these days, as pointed out gleefully by some here on FR, don't have the mental maturity at 16 or 17 years old to make a lot of great decisions....
