God, I thought that thing was over with years ago.
It's been a big Guilty and Death Penalty Day. I hope the trend continues.
Isn't he dead yet?
ME TOO don't be suprise if Baretta be moreee popular than before ROFL
Regardless of the truth, a travesty of justice has occurred -
Here is my reasoning -
#1 - If Blake is actually guilty, then the prosecution obviously didn't put a winning case together - thus wasting a rather large sum of taxpayer's money for nothing but a media event.
#2 - If Blake is actually innocent, then the prosecution just wasted a great deal of court time and money prosecuting the wrong man.
While I hope that this verdict is the correct verdict (seems rather likely with the speed of a decision and only one voting for conviction on the second charge causing the deadlock on that one).
I realize that that is how the system works - BUT - it seems that either someone dropped the ball putting the case together, went to trial together without enough evidence, or the prosecution team was just plain too lazy to find the right suspect.
What do they all have in common (other than the obvious)?
They all received campaign contributions from Robert Blake.
