Hmm, we know Bush is one heck of a poker player, so why not look at the 'big picture'? Analyze what we have on our southern border and what's likely to happen if we A. do nothing, B. build a wall, militarize that wall, etc. or C. try and get a handle on illegals already here, encourage them to go home, encourage Mexico to change, revitalize its economy, yada yada yada. Or C. We invade Mexico and whip them into shape. Meanwhile, we're fighting terrorism, etc..

NAFTA was supposed to help Mexico lift itself out of the third world slum. We all know how that turned out. So now it's open borders? Globalization? Everything we've done so far has been predicated on Fox and company's good intentions...which so far don't exist. Plus there's the question of Mexico's oil. Whom they'll sell to and at what price, etc. And if you recall, they didn't develop their oil industry, we did. They nationalized it. (Like Arab oil industries...ARAMCo., etc.)

This is complicated, certainly, but Bush's first responsibility is to secure our borders and protect US citizens. There will be a tipping point beyond which Bush won't be able to play nice with Fox. Some outrage, large numbers of citizens raped/murdered...not piecemeal stuff. Something hugh.

And where are patriotic, loyal Mexicans who want change back home in Mexico, who are sick of the drugs, lawlessness, and corruption? Where are they? Busy having that 'anchor' baby in San Diego?

Clearly it is not a pretty picture. It has not been for a long time now, too long. And again, nothing TO FIX THE PROBLEM is being done, NOTHING! Just more pandering, footsie-games with Vincente and his criminal, third world government, which cannot deliver SQUAT to its people. Outrage? I have plenty of it -- I wish more real Americans did too. I am fed up with my country being overrun with criminal illegals, AND HAVING TO PAY FOR IT...in more ways than one. Meanwhile, Washington just plays its POLITICS BEFORE THE PEOPLE games....the beat goes on.

I hope to GOD there is poker strategery involved... I'm not ready to give up on this Great Nation. Even liberal university professors are urging reform in Mexico:
