She was able to last 6-7 days on the previous occasion, until the feeding and hydration was restored. However, she is probably in a more weakened state now. But, by the same token, this is a struggle between good and evil; a spiritual war. So she may be able to draw sustenance which we are not able to imagine.
(NO flames please; there is a lot of passion on this issue. I am ringing in with my personal thoughts.)

I hope that people will have hearts and see what's at stake here. I have no idea what that Florida judge and Mr. Schiavo are thinking.

This is not so much a spiritual war as it is a final battle for the moral high ground where even the winners are forced to gaze at the wasted land that lies in the wake of battles fought and those yet to be waged.
The best that may be done here is to memorialize that which can't be finally moralized.
Prolonged debate is a luxury available only to the easily comforted.
