Why do we pay adults to play chlidren's games (baseball, basketball, etc.) more than nearly anyone else in the world?

Because, baseball , football, basketball, ect, is not a sport anymore, it's a business..
Besides, we have to keep up with inflation to meet up with the same level or pay the same size of their egos.

I don't know if that's really true. You can make pretty good money in Europe playing soccer.
