She is BRAIN DEAD. I am just agreeing with the courts. And now, for the 101st time I have stated, ad nauseum, that I believe that absent written consent, Terri should be handed over to her parents providing they take care of her in their home, with their money. But I don't think that is how anybody would want their life to be lived. That is what I said.

According to the CNN page, persistent vegetative state is not equivalent to brain death.

How convenient of you...

Tell me does it not worry you in the least all of the stories that she tries to communicate? If they are even slightly true then brain dead she is not. But you would be on the side of killing her in a tortuous manner and not finding out or even caring that other agendas are at work here to kill a woman who just might not want to die?

Sorry, I would never understand people who would do this to this woman, nor do I ever want to. At least kill her in a humane manner, a bullet to the head would be kinder than the death thought up for her. Our sick dogs receive better treatment.

She isn't BRAIN DEAD unless someone produces an MRI - AND clinical observations by several expert neurologists over a period of weeks.

I base this on the experts cited by the National Review article that is online right now from the priest who has followed this case.

The fact that someone (Dr. Howard, I believe, a pro-death travel-round-the-country expert for hire) can examine her for 45 minutes, pronounce her brain dead (i.e., PVS), and be viewed as an expert by J. Greer is truly frightening.

Then what's all the arguing about? You're in agreement with most everybody else here.

She is BRAIN DEAD.

You are simply wrong. I have read many posts by and about you on this thread, and I believe that you have been unfairly treated by many, but on this point I must strongly disagree. Are you aware that in many states a diagnosis of "brain death" is equivalent to a diagnosis of "body death" and thus is requisite permission to harvest organs? Would you agree to harvesting Theresa Schiavo's organs come Monday morning?

BTW, this woman hardly manifests any of the legally acceptable attributes of one who could be legally declared to be "brain dead". Do the research yourself.

Of course, that half a million spent by the HINO from Terri's Medical Trust on lawyers trying to KILL HER might have helped, but it's gone now.
