Two, the killer stands to benefit from the victim's death.

Is it true that Terri has a life insurance policy that Michael will cash in on if Terri dies while they are still "married?"

Also, I wonder if Terri's condition could be the result of what is known (in small children) as "shaken baby syndrome," a type of injury which essentially leaves no outwardly observable damage?
