KING: Have you had any contact with the family today? This is a sad day all the way around, Michael. We know of your dispute.
M. SCHIAVO: I've had no contact with them.
KING: No contact at all?
M. SCHIAVO: No.
KING: Do you understand how they feel?
M. SCHIAVO: Yes, I do. But this is not about them, it's about Terri. And I've also said that in court. We didn't know what Terri wanted, but this is what we want...

The above quote seems like such a bombshell it should be worthy of its own thread. Jeb Bush, arrest Michael and restore the feeding tube (and antibiotics) ASAP.

We didn't know what Terri wanted, but this is what we want... To Noah_Si al_178?: Weren't you the one yesterday claiming that Terri had told Michael that she would not want to live this way?

Not the first time he hung himself on LKL. Of course King is such a dull edge he never noticed.

That is not the first time that jerk has lied over all of these years. I will not believe, that after following this for three years now, that Michael will get his wish. I still have faith that something is going to happen soon for Terri and her family.

Read the pertinent phrase again, little nettle: "We didn't know what Terri wanted, but this is what we want... " Michael Schiavo on CNN.

Good Catch supercat. I first saw it here. Someone else supplied the transcript link [which, at cnn.com, should be as reliable as anything they put out]. I just supplied the new thread.

I am certain that Im not the first one to think of this but...
Has anyone ever accessed the testimony of Michael Schiavo in the original malpractice trial or a deposition. Knowing insurance defense lawyers, I am sure he was deposed. What did he actually say then?
And, also at that trial, in calculating damages, there had to be testimony introduced by Schiavo (through his attorneys-same thing) about life span, quality of life, loss of consortium, etc.
I did a quick check of the clerks website but it didnt appear to be available. Anybody know what it says?

I just tried calling the governor's mailbox and it was full. Who can we contact about this!? Too bad it wasn't noticed earlier, but Michael just admitted on national television that he's been lying about this case--I'd say that's grounds for an immediate indictment and restoration of food, fluids, and antibiotics.

He's expressing he doesn't know what she wanted. Read it again. It's pretty clear.
