I won't watch FOX anymore as pertains to Terri. They are INTENTIONALLY spreading DISINFORMATION CONCERNING TERRI.

AGREED! FoxNews stinks on Terri stories. Chris Wallace led off his Sunday news show with a quick blurb about Terri, then he asked "Is it an act of mercy? or government meddling?"

BOTH choices within his question are the euthanasia lobby's point of view.

"I'm a lawyer and my first thought was that it was a bill of attainder. However, I lookd up the history and a key element is missing. A bill of attainder seeks to punish a single person without trial. Here there is no punishment therefore it should pass constitutional muster. Some examples of bills for single persons. Chrysler Bail out, Bills making individuals citizens, Gold Medals for Schwartzkopf at end of Gulf War."

===

Thanks for clarifying that.

Someone posted that Terri has an infection and is running a high fever. She may have gotten the infection, when her feeding tube was removed.

Yes, they are. In my book, that's called BIAS and propaganda, not NEWS.

Yes. Why the heck hasn't DCF taken her into protective custody? They would have done so in any other case.

Thanks to both of you for your replies to my "bill of attainder" question.

"Did anyone see James Moran(sic) and Barney Frank today? Pontificating on the "SANCTITY OF MARRIAGE BETWEEN ONE MAN AND TWO WOMEN" "

LOL Good one. Terri should file for divorce.

you're welcome; I just wish I could remember the Senator who spoke....he was very articulate (I wasn't nearly so in trying to remember what he said, lol), and clear, and intelligible to the layperson concerning their duties and rights in making laws. It was a very good press conference of the Republicans following the dreadful Rats who were pontificating, as another freeper stated, about the "sanctity of marriage between one man and two women."

Michael is keeping Terri PVS so she can't file for divorce. Who could have predicted she would live so long after is the fly in his ointment.

"personally I'd trash my political career to save a life.. but that's just me."

You're not alone, but don't expect like thinking among our "most esteem" politicians. They don't really care about you and me, and Terri. They're just interested in power for the sake of power.

In cases like these, don't trust anonymous rumors.

Last time Terri was being starved, and about to be saved, Felos was spreading the word that Terri's internal organs were all shutting down and she was past the point of no return.

This is one of the congresscritters who tried to refuse help to Terri...DISGUSTING!

Save the Manatee Club honored Senator Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Tuesday, March 18, for her unparalleled commitment to manatee protection during the 2002 Florida legislative session.

“She really saved the manatee last year," says Co-Chairwoman of the Board, Helen Spivey. “Her ability to forge consensus amongst differing viewpoints is a rare talent. She basically took a bill that no one could agree on and advocated for a product that in the end everyone could agree on."

Patrick Rose, Director of Government Relations for the Club, explains that her efforts, which resulted in an agreed manatee peace pact in the legislature, allows all the parties to focus on other consensus efforts outside of the Tallahassee arena.

“Senator Wasserman Schultz’s efforts,” said Rose “proved that boaters and conservationists could work together to achieve positive outcomes for our state’s aquatic ecosystems. The most crucial aspect of her effort was the deal all parties made to not further modify the Manatee Sanctuary Act until we could evaluate the impacts of this legislation. That means manatees can hopefully rest easy during the 2003 and 2004 session.”

Bobby Schindler was just on Fox News with Gibbs, live. How can he be in the room with Terri??? I am confused. He didn't mention anything about the Schindlers not being in the room now, or did I miss part of the interview??? Anyone else hear it???

so this didn't come from the Schindlers or someone close to the situation?? Bobby was just on Fox and never mentioned fever or that the Schindlers were not there with Terri.

Let me just make it clear that the other networks are trashier and just as lying as our dispenser of "truth" at FOX.

Muck them all!
