I think the Florida statute is fair. If we know, to a clear and convincing evidence standard, what they wanted, they should be allowed their wish to die. Yes. The 'clear and convincing standard' compensates for the lack of a writing.

Unlike you, I think Judge Greer, despite being maligned by the ignorant, did his very best to be fair to everyone in the case and properly determined what Terri wanted.

You need to find out what the facts are here, mr churchill (are you related to Ward?). There is no factual evidence that she wanted to die under these circumstances, and no one in his or her right mind thinks she wanted to be starved to death.

And if you are defending Judge Greer, you are clearly on the wrong side of the political and moral spectrum, or are totally ignorant about what this man has done.
