it's not absurd.. he does have the power to take terri into protective custody..and he hasn't.. you either make a move to save a life or you don't.. pretty freaking simple.. personally I'd trash my political career to save a life.. but that's just me.
I'm sure he is not concerned about his political career. Anyone who knows the Bush family knows they are not political hacks or hogs.
How do you know what he has done or has not done? Are you there in his office? Do you have access to what he has done or hasn't done? Have you spoken to him on the phone? In person? Maybe you could inform the rest of us then.

You're not alone, but don't expect like thinking among our "most esteem" politicians. They don't really care about you and me, and Terri. They're just interested in power for the sake of power.
