The Dems are arguing, though, for death. You have Jim Moran out there leading the vampire brigade.

The only reason the Democrats are agreeing to this is that they don’t want to be known as the party that killed Terri.

Yes, they can't act on their true impulse when the attention of the nation is focused on them.

If the Democrats wanted to look better they would not have dragged this thing out and forced a three hour debate knowing time is precious here.
I think this will be great fodder for debate on talk radio tomorrow and the Democrats will come off looking like the party than embraces the so called "Culture of Death".
Even a dog being put down is treated better than Terri Schiavo or any other person who has been allowed to die by starvation. Despicable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I am REALLY getting PO'd. This scum apparently won't give her family access to her to either give nutrition orally OR just to be with her while she dies. If nothing more, this guy (Her husband) is a P*ick, deserves a good flogging and removal as her guardian immediately.

The really disgusting thing about the Congress doing this is -- that they refuse to TAKE UP THE DEBATE OF OUR OPEN BORDERS WHICH HAVE PERMITTED UNTOLD TERRORISTS AND ILLEGALS TO INVADE THIS COUNTRY AND RESIDE HERE ILLEGALLY, WHICH COST US THOUSANDS-THOUSANDS-THOUSANDS OF LIVES ON 9/11 --- yet they will hold SPECIAL SESSIONS over a tragic situation regarding ONE LIFE.

THIS IS SICK, PERVERSE AND TYPICAL OF POLITICIANS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN GRANDSTANDING ON THE BACK OF ONE POOR WOMAN -- WHILE IGNORING THE NEEDS OF AN ENTIRE NATION.

PUKES!!!

That we should even have this debate is a sign of horrible times. History will look back and wonder how the country ever CONSIDERED starving a crippled woman to death.

They already passed the bill in the senate, by voice vote.

That means there is no way to tell how Hillary voted, right?

Terri's brother told Fox today that Terri (according to Michael) told Michael her "wishes" of not being on life support.....in 1997. This is when she was, according to Michael, in a vegetative state.

So how could she have said this if she was a vegetable?

And how can these politicians, judges and citizens say that "Terri's wishes" should be followed?

what the hell is wrong with Wexler? God, I hope he gets into a semi-coma someday and finds out what its like.
