not choosing their lifestyle
Does a pedophile choose to be a pedophile or is it a disorder?
I would love to run around with women all the time, I didn't choose to be attracted to buxom redheads, but since I am, I guess I should just go with it!

But won't this policy make it more difficult for "victims advocate lawyers" to prosper by suing the Catholic Church?

Before they can ban pervs from the priesthood and the hierarchy AND from the classroom they'd have to do something about the serially divorced, alcoholic, abortion-supporting, extremely rich politicos that fund the diocese in Boston and New York AND avoid putting individuals who deny the basic tenants of the Catholic faith in charge of their colleges and universities (Notre Dame, Georgetown, etc.). I'd say a snowball in hell has a better chance than any of the above.
