Hell of a response there, kid. You're really going places.
"on here that are not impeded by a lack of knowledge "
You got that right.
Wow, we've come pretty far afield from the discussion of "hearsay".
"I've read the documents, I understand what the courts have done, and I disagree."
But it was admitted as you say, as "hearsay", or otherwise as allowed. You may disagree, but so far those of your profession agree otherwise.
Funny thing about the law, just when you think you've got it down, there's always the exceptions.
"We are affirmatively killing a disabled person"
This is another point to which you disagree. You are a lawyer, perhaps the doctors are in a better position to make a determination of her condition?
you are quite dogged in your crusade. can i ask why this means so very much to you? see, i can understand the people who are zealous in favor of the preservation of life. i can even understand the people who don't care, are tired of hearing it, just are not all that fired up about it. but what i DO NOT understand, are those who are zealous, dogged, FIERCE in their pursuit of her eventual death. will you heave a great sigh of relief that JUSTICE was finally done? clap each other on the back and say we fought the good fight here, our work is done? i do NOT understand.
"i do NOT understand."
What can I say.
BTW....you're right. I probably can't discuss family law as well as others. My specialty is in a completely different area.
you will eventually get your wish in terri's case. i hope that it will bring you the satisfaction you so zealously pursue.
there are two sides in this case. i know you would dearly love to claim some line in the middle but it doesn't exist. one is either on the side of life, or one is not.
After observing the past week - I'm afraid my previous sentiment has not changed.
One-year anniversary approaching. Since you failed to answer my question a year ago, once again I ask you -- how do you know anything about Terri's catechumenism? Are you a former Catholic? What exactly are you? I would like to know what kind of evangelicalism pretends to know a Catholic's catechumenism, or would be so debased as to presume to know.
