Just about every thread that's written about Dowd usually ends up with pictures of Michael Douglas's gorgeous wife Catherine It's sort of becoming a rule to post her picture, much like posting a pic of Ann Coulter.

After that, she starting writing columns critical of Ken Starr.

Shortly after that, Douglas dumped her for Catherine Zeta-Jones.

I've done volunteer work for 25 years with children who are profoundly mentally retarded. Many of them are utterly non-responsive and rely exclusively on feeding tubes to stay alive. They come up to our camp for a week each summer, where they spend time in the sun or in the pool. Each one is very different, and there's no real way to tell if some of them benefit from the experience or not. Sometimes, in a gesture or some interaction, you get an overwhelming sense that they are appreciative on some level of our efforts. But maybe that is wishful thinking or emotions on our part.

I never felt any urge to kill them because of their condition. And they never expressed any desire to die either.
