I can never describe the level of disgust I feel, not for this talentless, desperate woman, but for a society that actually prints her worthless columns and shares her repugnant viewpoints.

Information is not a scarce commodity these days. And in fact, most of your junk news and junk information is going to come from these sources. Once you're on the 'Net, you have a far superior medium for obtaining information. Maybe a hundred years ago, before most of the population was educated, the newspaper guy and the school marm was a good source of what was happening in the world but these days, with your capacity to search and limited only by your own open-mindedness, why should you limit yourself to the narrow-minded provincialism of these pseudo-educated people anymore?
It's like cutting the land line phones in the world of wireless; once you do, you never look back but wonder why you hadn't done it sooner. Subscribing to your local newspaper is just a bad habit you need to break -- so you have more money for truly useful things. And think of all that wear and tear you'll save by not having them jerk you around every day. Even the propagandists are realizing there's nobody left but the dysfunctional audience anymore and are infiltrating the new media until they are discovered -- and then have to establish new aliases. But at least we can out them while the newspapers will never allow any criticism of themselves. In their world, only everybody else is wrong. They are of course, living gods.
There never will be a vacuum of information sources; information is what humans do. But some people think they invented and own it.

Yes, electrolyte imbalance, and shock with organ failure is the progression. Fluids and electrolytes would need to be replaced.
Yes, hypocrisy usually is...Ms. Dowd is on record that she is appalled that we "torture" terrorists. And torture, by the Dem's definition, includes food, water and sensory deprivation. Geez...doesn't this mean MS is/has been "torturing" Terri?
