I don't think the money people in Florida have thought this through - other than the long-term care insurance companies who stand to make a lot of money. There are a lot of us who will never go to Florida. Think about the people who were planning on moving there after they retired. It's bound to have an impact.
And long long-term care insurance, why buy it if it doesn't have a clause in it about euthanasia. Anybody in a nursing home more than 6 months is at risk.
I'm thinking maybe all of those retired folk in Florida might be thinking it isn't a real good place to get ill. I mean, how many of them need help eating?
