Funny he didn't testify to any of that stuff in court with any evidence...like patient names that have been successfully treated. He couldn't come up with one. The guy used to or still does advertise in the National Enquirer and accepts cash only (since insurance companies aren't about to pay for his highly disruptable practices). Oh, and the person who nominated him for a prize denies it and he can't provide proof.

I read that whole 38 page document that the Wolfson wrote for Jeb Bush. I think everyone should read it. I learned a few new things myself, like the fact Terri's parents testified in 2001 that the believe she is truly in a Permanent Vegitative State. It's funny that I never find anything to soften my position, only things that make it stronger. Well, that's not true. I've come to believe that if Michael Schiavo had been even a little more generous with his settlement money we wouldn't be in the position we're in. He should have given them something. No, he didn't have to, but he should have. They took care of Terri together for four years sharing expenses. He should have given them something.

And that's part of the reason for this blood feud. Neither one's hands are clean in this.

"Oh, and the person who nominated him for a prize denies it and he can't provide proof."

All you have to do is a search on the nomination.

"Mike Bilirakis letter to Nobel Committee members presenting Dr. Williams Hammersfahr.
http://www.hnionline.com/nobel_prize_nomination.htm

If you read the letter you will note that Michael Bilirakis writes that he received commendations from different organizations, including "The Tramatic Brain Injury Association". Now I would imagine that this organization would be considered "Representatives of the medical scientific community" and therefore qualified to recommend him as a nominee. http://www.biaf.org/

If you go to Dr. Hammersfahr's website you will also see a letter from the BIAF congratulating him on a prior certificate he recieved.

Who is Mike Bilirakis?………As Chairman of the Health Subcommittee, which has jurisdiction over much of the health-related legislation introduced in the House of Representatives, Mike has been a vocal advocate for medical research and a national leader on health reform. He was also instrumental in the passage of the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003. As Chairman, he not only helped draft the House version of the Medicare bill but was also chosen to be one of the few members appointed to reconcile the differences between the House and Senate versions of the bill. And although Mike is thrilled to have legislation that he has worked on so tirelessly passed into law, he recognizes that his work is not done as his Subcommittee is responsible for overseeing the implementation of this historic new benefit. "

Mike Bilirakis supports Dr. Hammersfahr work.
