Liberal Lunatic of the Day (3/23/2005)
Liberal Lunacy ^ | 3/23/2005 | Beckwith

Cynthia McKinney is the six-term representative to Congress from the 4th District of Georgia. She has publicly claimed the Bush administration had prior knowledge of the events leading up to 9-11, saying the administration allowed the events to occur in order to reap huge profits from the invasions in Afghanistan and Iraq.

McKinney recently spoke at the sparsely-attended Chicago Anti-War Rally. She said that war is about the only option available when the real motive is to steal natural resources that belong to someone else.

McKinney’s rant continued with, “The militarism we see today is nothing new. Bush tells the American people that he has no idea when US troops can expect to come home. Sadly, many of them are being forced to take matters into their own hands. With filings for conscientious objector status, forced pregnancies, disappearances, seeking asylum in Canada, and leading rallies like this today all over America.”

“Thousands of Iraqis, especially children, have been killed by our sanctions and our bombs. This is an immoral and illegal war and we need to bring our troops home now. Instead, they lay the groundwork to expand the war and destabilize Iran, Lebanon, and Syria. Destroying Iraq isn't enough for them. Nor are the million men and women in our Armed Services enough for them. The George Bush war machine wants you and, your children. Mercenaries will increasingly be used to fight their wars with your tax dollars, while reinstating the draft only feeds the war machine.”

She finally goes over the edge with the following, “They tell us we're at war for democracy. But that's a joke; George Bush came to power by stopping democracy at home--denying the opportunity to vote to blacks and Latinos in Florida. They built on that fine record last year with hackable voting machines that don't accurately tally our votes.”

There is no such thing as an "Illegal war". The concept is a joke.

Nobody ever said that sanity was a requirement for politics.

She is dumber than a box of hair. What proof does she have that the White House knew about Sept. 11th before it happened? None, of course. Ms. McKinney is a knucklehead and her constituents are even bigger nutjobs. Say, you know, I paid $2.47 a gallon for high test this morning. I guess our gambit to "steal other peoples' resources" isn't working out too well.

I am sure that there are wonderful folks in her district.

However, Ms. McKinney's gerrymandered district must computer identified every below 60 IQ Oxycontin-addicted welfare scam artist in the South, as the majority population.

Don't expect others to do your job for you. Steal it at the pump.

Technically speaking... the City of Atlanta is mostly in Fulton county and that's where Brian Nichols did his damage. DeKalb county sits on the east border of Fulton County and that's where Cynthia McKinney does her damage.

It's baffling how the DeKalb residents can lack such self-esteem as to vote McKinney to represent them.

What ever or however her district appears, it is a congressional district with voters - who insist on re-electing her. The onus is on the voters. Not a computer.

Oh yeah, there are good folks there.

Oh, yeah, congresswoman, those two are real money makers. Raking it in hand over fist, we are. %-)

At the time she made the statement about 9/11, she was dating a Pakistani man, and in her last election, a huge block of contributions came from Arab interests. Does anybody know if she is still dating this Muslim?
