Just a question...

Would the Pinellas Park police guarding the hospice stand aside or would they physically try to prevent DCF from taking custody of Terri?

What's their responsibility in this? Are they guarding the hospice due to a court order?

Anyone?

The state Police and National Guard would have jurisdiction over the local Police. Also the County Sheriff also has jurisdiction anywhere in the county.

Just a guess, but I think an executive branch agency such as DCF likely would use state police when they have to take custody by force (and I'm sure DCF has done this many times.).

I'd think Pinellas Park Police would have to stand aside for that.
