God made the world or he didn't.
God made you or he didn't. ....
Our children have been reared in the age of abortion, and are coming of age in a time when seemingly respectable people are enthusiastic for euthanasia. It cannot be good for our children, and the world they will make, that they are given this new lesson that human life is not precious, not touched by the divine, not of infinite value.
Once you "know" that--that human life is not so special after all--then everything is possible, and none of it is good. When a society comes to believe that human life is not inherently worth living, it is a slippery slope to the gas chamber. You wind up on a low road that twists past Columbine and leads toward Auschwitz. Today that road runs through Pinellas Park, Fla.

Human life is special - or isn't it? If Terri Schiavo dies, this country will encounter a profound loss of innocence. Peggy Noonan has written a gut-wrenching article on why the passion of the pull-the-tube people is bizzare. Either we all Children Of God or as the other side insists, our being here is of no importance in the greater scheme of things. That's what the debate over the life and death of one woman is all about.

The solution to the Social Security problem is at hand: euthanasia. The baby-boomers should be verrrrry worried....

That's liberal reasoning.

What is disturbing is that the onus has been put on Terry and her parents to prove she deserves to live. It seems the onus should be on those wanting to take her life, and it should be an extraordinarily heavy onus, to show why she should not live. From now on in all these cases the burden will be on the person to prove they deserve to live. Very sad state of affairs. We are well on the way to the right to die, becoming the duty to die.

If they care so much about her pain, why are they unconcerned at the suffering caused her by the denial of food and water?Because they care only about advancing their agenda of death.

Did you see that Greer this afternoon admitted he'd made an error in his basis for rejecting the "Karen Quinlan" testimony that Terri did not want to be offed. This is critical to the rational for offing her, but Greer claims it doesn't make any difference!

Exactly. We're reaching the point where some people won't be given a choice in the matter. They have to die for the "greater good" - usually that of the state. And the usual motivation will be to save a great deal of money. Life is cheap when it has no intrinsic meaning in and of itself.

Terri Schiavo may well die. No good will come of it. Those who are half in love with death will only become more red-fanged and ravenous. Peggy has nailed it as usual. These people are blood thirsty, and those who doubt that and cheer them on won't be cheering when they get their judges to decide that you should die because you aren't politically or spiritually aligned with them. It is coming.
To: expatpat
There are those so blind they cannot see. A man with blood on his hands is not likely to back down and humble himself before God. So it is with Judge Greer.

Pinellas Park, Fla, the Death County. If someone suggest you move there, be sure to watch your back.

No I didn't see that. But that figures. They disgust me.

I'm typing this with tears streaming down my cheeks.
Terri must not be murdered. She's every bit as important as you and I.
Peggy has put it so well.

Peggy does a great, and frightening, job of showing how close a substantial portion of the left and of the Democratic party has come to genuine evil. I predict that, bad as it is now, it will only get worse.
We are in for some even more horrific instances of this leftist hatred for the fundamental order of reality, something that in the end, if pushed too far, is perilously close to Satanic.
To: goldstategop
On Democratic Underground they crowed about having "kicked the sh-- out of the fascists." Oh no ... this is insane.
