In this case, he's absolutely correct. Same was true for the OJ jury, so any Los Angeles DA should prepare for the "stupid jury effect."

I didn't watch or follow any of the trial, but I did see jury members speak afterward. They seemed like intelligent people for the most part. The foreman said the fact there was no gunshot residue on Blake and that many of the prosecution's witnesses are known liars led to reasonable doubt.

The DA is also indicting his own ability to choose jurors.

That was my conclusion in the case also. In both cases even if there had been a complete video tape of the murders, the jury would have acquitted. Stupid is as stupid does and they were extremely stupid. Simpson&Blake two (POS) murderers enjoying their celebrity status via two (POS) juries with a frontal lobotomy. NSNR

The OJ jury wasn't stupid - - - it was racist!

Maybe the prosecution needs to use EVIDENCE!

Apples and oranges (he he, he said "oranges")...

Blake's wife was a grifter who had scammed people other than Blake. So, unusually for a wife-killing, there were other people with arguably sufficient motive. The DA was too lazy to cover that, and lost.

You are absolutely right!

I heard some of the reasons they didn't convict and this jury was dumber than a box of rocks, who think every case should go a smooth as an episode of C.S.I.

All evidence pointed to Blake and no one else.

so any Los Angeles DA should prepare for the "stupid jury effect."

I remember reading a year or so ago that the investigation into this case was the most extensive ever done in Los Angeles....simply because they didn't want another OJ fiasco.

So much for good intentions.
