You get a gold star. Generally, that's what most "activism" is about. People who really care do things relevant, not street theater.

Generally speaking, I don't believe the hype that surrounds these frequent danger announcements, and you can take my mascara when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

However, if there is a potential problem with chemicals used in cosmetics (for an historical example, see lead based face powders), I would like to be informed about it.

The toxic effect probably depends upon the level of exposure...

Rest assured that The Former Twelfth Lady will oppose any
calls to ban (or regulate) the cosmetics industry because
she knows that any such curbs would cost her any chance
that she might otherwise have to reoccupy Motel 1600 in 2008...or forever!
