GRANITE CITY - A Sothern Illinois woman was arrested last week (March 17) after trying to intervene on behalf of her 14-year old daughter's effort to have an abortion. The girl was allegedly taken to an abortion clinic by the mother of the man allegedly to have impregnated the 14-year old.
According to the girl's mother, her 14-year old daughter was called off from school in Madison County by a woman posing as the girl's grandmother. The woman took the girl from her home only minutes before the girls mother returned home from work.
It was later determined that the woman who had posed as the "grandmother" to the school authorities was the mother of the male who had fathered the unborn child the 14-year old girl was carrying. The age of the male has not been released.

There should have been an Amber Alert posted and the police should have escorted the mother to see her daughter and verify she was safe. In addition to ignoring the mother's rights, had that not been her daughter in the clinic, the police could have been letting a kidnapper's the trail get cold.
I support the police, but the pro choice lobby has local law enforcement and governments so scared that their judgement gets blurred. Had she been in any other building, for any other reason, the police would have arrested the boy's mother and returned the girl to her mother's custody.
WE NEED TO GET ACTIVIST JUDGES OUT OF OUR COURTS AND ADMINISTRATE THE CONSTITUTION AS WRITTEN.

Stupid me, I forget there are ain't any conservatives left in Illinois, and I plan on leaving shortly, so never mind.
"Am I missing something, or isn't it kidnapping for an adult to fraudulently take a 14 year old away from school without their parents permission?"
I beleive the state is legal custodian of your child while she is on public school property. This actually trumps the rights of the parents. That may be overstating it - I'm not a legal expert - perhaps someone in that background can explain better than me.
This story has been posted a couple times in the past few days but imo, it should be allowed to stand each and every subsequent time, because this is completely outrageous.
This story is beyond outrageous, the more who know it the better. Looks like Drudge finally picked up on it.
I am glad some articles are reposted, or at least re-introduced for those of us who can't be here 24/7.
Dulicate posts on important subjects can be a good thing. I just wanted to make sure you read the comments on that thread. Mrs Mark posted a link also #6--(NO she is not my wife)
We've got to try to change one heart one mind at a time.
Children do not have the "right" nor the capacity to act in an informed way, to make medical decisions about their own bodies. What if this girl had been 10 years old? What then? Same argument from the liberals?
If this child had taken an aspirin from her pocket and swallowed it while she was in school, she would have been expelled.
WHAT HAVE WE BECOME????
I can't wait for the G*dd**n liberal baby killing b*sta*ds to come along and hector me as to how the government should not intervene in private family matters, as in the Sciavo case.
Start with Judge Greer!!!!
Anyone know how to get this story to Bill O'Reilly?
Sounds like his kind of story.
Absolutely.
This doesn't apply here because the child was taken off school property. The child was kidnapped and it should be treated as such.
