I wish Bush would get it through his thick head, judges are not dictators and cannot make up law as they go. The judge cannot restrain an agency from carrying out it's lawful duty, just because he feesl like it.

My anger for the judges has been expressed all over this forum. It was only when I found this information that I became angry with Bush.

He asked Thomas More Law Center for their opinion, they gave it to him, and he did nothing. He could have fixed this mess two years ago.

How often have I said this TA????? I just had a friend, a legal researcher, email Jeb Bush with ALL of the Florida Statutes under which he can LEGALLY and without RECOURSE, act to carry this out RIGHT NOW. I'm CONVINCED THAT CORRUPTION AND COLLUSION IS SO WIDESPREAD in Florida that Jeb Bush is AFRAID to act. I believe that the COLLUSION and CORRUPTION has it's tentaticles in EVERY SINGLE INSTITUTION that could interfere here. The Judicary obviously, the Florida Government obviously, the DCF obviously, Law Enforcement Obviously. WHY doesn't the FBI step in and take control of this little Nazi Germany? Why doesn't Iceland, JUST DECLARE TERRI AN ICELANDIC CITIZEN and demand that Greer must not harm one of their citizens? This country just gave an HONORARY CITIZENSHIP to (?) Fisher a little while ago. Once that is done, the USA may NOT harm one of another countries citizens who is NOT charged with a crime. Other than something like that, OR a MASSIVE ARMED UPRISING,Terri's TORTURE is going to continue until she painfully breathes her last breath. CLEARLY when Greer sees it necessary to surround the Hospice with GUARDS and POLICE and make it into a PRISON, he's scared of this girl living and getting better. The USA is being FLUSHED DOWN THE MORAL CRAPPER RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES AND THE WHOLE WORLDS EYES. WHAT A WIMP Governor Bush is. OR is it something else? There is NO other LOGICAL answer.

Read it for yourself and be appalled at Gov Bush's inaction for over 2 years. He knew over 2 years ago that DCFS had the power to take custody of Terri. He knew that there was a strong posibility that abuse and neglect was taking place over 2 years ago.

Thank you for providing the link to these 2 letters. This is amazing that Jeb Bush knew in 2003 his exact powers and the recommendation for a criminal investigation., but chose not to act then or since to take Terri into protective custody or order the criminal investigation. Today he mealymouthed says that people don't understand his limited powers and that he has done all he can. I am appalled at Gov Bush. I am also so sad that of the many millions of Americans, probably very few will ever read these 2 letters, and will remain in the dark about the background of Jeb's lack of action. Until I read those letters just now, I had thought Jeb just might find the courage to rescue her shortly and save her life. Now I know not to hope for that.

Charles Bronson, where are you?

Jeb Bush has EXECUTIVE POWERS!! Those powers may be exercised WITHOUT ANY COURT.

Felos might wait 15 minutes before filing a habeas corpus writ in federal court based on his clioent's guardianship of Terri Schaivo. Upon the issuance of the writ, US marshalls would attempt to enforce the command to turn over the body. Then, would state police or sheriffs risk contempt at that point. Even more, do you really think Jeb Bush would order defiance of the federal writ.

I sense that the woman who appeared to be the Governor's lawyer and telegraphed the move of taking custody of Terri, is aout the caliber of Jeb Bush's legal advice right now. Let's just say we will not get anthing unconventional or heroic from Jeb. The telegraph so that he got splunked by Greer was so inept that Jeb Bush did us all a favor and he can be dropped from any national leadership role.

He's not going to use them, and now I know that he never planned to use them, regardless of what he said. When DCFS went to Greer to ask permission to take Terri into custody, they did so knowing that Greer would deny that permission. By asking permission, do they not enter into a de facto agreement to abide by the court's decission?

Again, I'm not a liar, I mean lawyer, but I think there is that de facto deal thing that goes on when one asks for permission from another to do something.

No. He could have acted on his own under the law. However, when he asked permission, probably on timid legal advice from the woman who spoke for him on Wednesday, he could not defy the court order. It is hard to avoid the conclusion that he did not want to act and that he only telegraphed his move in order to have an excuse for not baing able to act. In summary, Jeb is not a leader.

Not only was he denied permission, the agency was ordered not to. I agree Jeb Bush did not want to act. You can only guess why. He is no leader.

That may have been a political decision, to delay it, because of W's re-election. Just speculating.

yeah, if you ask for a court decision and then ignore it, you have a problem. But the DCFS was forced to ask permission, because of Greer's pre-emptive restraining order. They miust have known he wouldn't lift it, but maybe it's a step they have to go through to get to where they need to be.

Right. He's allowing the Judge to take away his power. It's ridiculous. And he will regret it for the rest of his life.

HUH????? I had called it the St. Thomas Law Center in a private communication with Canadian Outrage. I was correcting what I said in that communication. How could you possibly insinuate ANYTHING from that comment?

We have a runnaway Judiciary and Terri's case makes that Crystal Clear. I've said that over and over again. Weeks and weeks ago I called for Jeb to step in and take custody of Terri along with Canadian Outrage and many others.

I have myself suffered terribly and unjustly at the hands of the Judiciary, though not even close to the same degree as Terri and her family. AND I am helping to promote the March For Justice II.

Either Jeb is STUPID or he knew the Judge would say NO. Pick one.
