With this and the other lies that police say, I will not believe anything a person of the law says again. One here in Florida said he was scared that a chicken or peacock (I forget which) would do him harm so he shot them. That is against the law but he never got anything for doing it. While the average citizen would be in jail for one year for killing a chicken or peacock or rabbit or rat or dog or cat or horse.

Someone should be in jail but that never happens. I hope they win 50 million. If I were on the jury I would award 100 million as a minimum.

You have almost no details except the claims made by a drug addict's lawyer and you're ready to award 50 million? That my friend is insane. There is more to this. Her behavior was probably the mitigating factor. Just because she says she wasn't covered up doesn't mean she wasn't covered up. Drug addicts lie. I'm 100 percent certain that she told the story to sound like she wanted it to, and left out any details that would have explained what happened in the actual context in which it happened.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Why would you reach into my pocket to assure the perpetuation of the lotto lawsuit jackpot system. You most certainly don't have any conservative principals. You advocate raising everyones taxes to mitigate an injustice by creating another.

I agree whatever cops weren't fired but let this happen should be fired, and the cop in charge should be in jail. But any damages she suffered were purely psychological, and the woman was already loopy as a loon, so there'll be a fun time proving them. And any money awarded shouldn't be paid out by the government but by these policemen individually. There's no way these cops have a million lying around, let alone 50 million, even if they are Atlanta's "finest," and I use the term as sarcastically as I can. And 50 million for exposing YOURSELF is ridiculous.
