Actually, in that election, they didn't check a box, and he ran unopposed.

However, in last year's election, he soundly defeated his opponent, so now we can officially blame the folks in Pinellas County.

I'd say for his challenger to get over 30% of the vote against an incumbent who was willing to grossly violate the campaign laws and whose campaign budget was totally unprecedented for a probate judicial election was actually pretty darned respectable. Can't see how anyone could have done better given that Greer cheated.
