Apparently that "euphoric state" the NYT and everybody was talking about was not caused by starvation, but by the morphine they give you for the pain that doesn't exist because you can't feel anything when your PVS.
Good point. If she's PVS and numb,i,e, so bad everything is reflex and she can't feel anything at all, why are they offering morphine for her "peaceful, euphoric" agony?
