It's terrible. The judges are out of control and they are protecting each other. I didn't know a judge could ignore a law/sepenia from congress and I don't know if there is anything we can do about it. I call on the freepers and the bloggers to find the solution and spread the word.

I think Jeb is finished politically.

I have never been so sick over anything in my life; and that includes cancer.

The cowards that are suppose to be representatives of the people are nothing less than pond scum. It seems like the powers that be have learned a lesson from the communists they seem to love so much and that is psychological warfare inflicted upon decent and honest American citizens.

How very sad that we do not have one elected official to stand for what is right in this country.

There is one thing we can all do about it and that is to stop paying our taxes. Without our money, they cannot operate.

Pontius Pilate is alive & well in our Judiciary. Justice has become a casualty of our secular legal system along with Terri Schiavo.

Is it just my imagination or is there a sound file attached to this article, the sounds of marching boots?

God does not like those that try to come in his name and yet make a mockery of his words......GOD IS THE SUPREME BEING. No matter what man tries to do to Terri, she will not die till God calls her home.....You're right Jeb, this does go beyond your scope of power and your brother's too. We are seeing God's word at work thru Terri.

It's too late to save Terri now. She has been very close to death for the past 72 hours. On Thursday (Maundy Thursday) she was bleeding from her nose, eyes and mouth and choaking on her own blood. Personally, to me this is reflective of Christ's own sacrifice. I believe that is the message that Terri's parents wanted to leave with use when they asked the Franciscan padre to speak for them.

Terri's will to live has been a lesson for all of us. By the bigger message is hidden in the prayers of the faithful who make their silent vigils each Maundy Thursday.

Peace of the Lord be with you.

For many years, I had wondered to myself, how did they get away with marching all those innocent people into the gas chambers; why did no one stand up and try to stop them? I now have a clearer understanding how it was accomplished!

It's become clearer to some of us, however, many still don't understand.

I cannot fathom why it is illegal to allow Terri to be given a glass of water. If she cannot drink it, it won't matter anyway. If she can drink it, she is not being kept alive by artifical means. If she truly wanted to die, she would refuse the water, so what are they afraid of? That if she accepts the water, it means that she does not want to die and they are killing her anyway? They should be afraid--for their souls.

We already have the tools and hold the power over judges. Unfortunately an 1894 ruling by the supreme court ruled that we don't need to know our rights. In Sparf vs US (156 US 51), the court ruled that although juries have the right to ignore a judge's instructions on the law, they don't have to be made aware of the right to do so.

http://www.caught.net/juror.htm

Prior to that ruling judges were simple mediators in the courtrooms and the people were the judiciary branch of government. Jurors hold more than the power to judge guilt or innocence, they hold the power to judge the law as well.

JOHN ADAMS (1771): It's not only ....(the juror's) right, but his duty, in that case, to find the verdict according to his own best understanding, judgement, and conscience, though in direct opposition to the direction of the court.

JOHN JAY (1794): The jury has a right to judge both the law as well as the fact in controversy.

SAMUEL CHASE (1804): The jury has the right to determine both the law and the facts.

OLIVER WENDELL HOLMES (1920): The jury has the power to bring a verdict in the teeth of both the law and the facts.

LORD DENMAN, (in C.J. O'Connel v. R. ,1884): "Every jury in the land is tampered with and falsely instructed by the judge when it is told it must take (or accept) as the law that which has been given to them, or that they must bring in a certain verdict, or that they can decide only the facts of the case."

Many more quotes including similar supreme court opinions here.
http://www.levellers.org/jrp/orig/jrp.jurquotes.htm

In not knowing our rights we have handed the scepter of power to judges and attorneys. There isn't a judge in the land who's going to inform us of our rights and there are very few attorneys who will do so. If they begin telling jurors of their rights, they lose their death grip on the courts.

I think Jeb is finished politically

As he watches a family degraded and humiliated by a judge who abused his authority, he can pack his bags, because he has lost his own authority. The jackals know now that he can be had.

There is one thing we can all do about it and that is to stop paying our taxes. Without our money, they cannot operate.

There is something else we can do. When you see retention of judges on your local and state ballots, vote to throw them all out. We must attack the culture of the judiciary. Just say no.

Terri didn't have a jury so that's irrelevant. We need some quotes for the governor and president.

That said, I've bookmarked those for future reference. Thanks.

This horrible treatment of Terri hammers home the point:

It's all about the judges!

If you stop paying taxes, they take the money from you by force. So, that's not a good idea.

The problem is that every government system has advantages and disadvantages. No government is perfect. A government is good when the people who make up the government are good. The government is bad when the leaders, judges, representatives are bad. Time will prove that. And as soon as time proves that a system does not work, it's days are numbered. The system goes through a change, but that does not guarantee that it will be better. If the people don't change, things will stay the same or get worse. What we really need to do here is to fire these judges and get new ones.
