OK, but what is this salvation you speak of?
OK
That's not how either Peter or Paul portray them. Your quarrel is with them.
Theres lots of Gods, which one.?.
I know a teenager that worships his car..
because somehow God has a plan for all of us to achieve salvation...
You are exactly right and here it is in God's own word
John 14:6
Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
I believe there is only one God, the creator of all.
>This is not an attack on Jews. All men are sinful. We all need the blood of Christ for forgiveness.
But the twisting of scriptures for political or secular purposes is truly a waste of time. <
We can say this is not an attack on the Jews but it is a stumbling block in spiritual discussion.Their is no reason for a Christian to debate the secular issue of who killed Jesus. We know the answer in God's economy is we all did.
1Cr 8:11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
1Cr 8:12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
I choose not to place a stumbling block in the path of my Jewish neighbor.
So do muslims..
and Satanists..
Your point.?.
No point, it was a question....what is the Biblical metaphorical reference to those that just believe in one God, and do not follow any religion?
If there is only one God, then He is God for all, regardless of someones religion.
Next, someone will come up with the notion that Jesus was a twin and that is how the resurrection was faked.
Let's go to the source,
11Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, Are you the king of the Jews?
Yes, it is as you say, Jesus replied.
12When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. 13Then Pilate asked him, Don't you hear the testimony they are bringing against you? 14But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single chargeto the great amazement of the governor.
15Now it was the governor's custom at the Feast to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd. 16At that time they had a notorious prisoner, called Barabbas. 17So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, Which one do you want me to release to you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ? 18For he knew it was out of envy that they had handed Jesus over to him.
19While Pilate was sitting on the judge's seat, his wife sent him this message: Don't have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.
20But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.
21Which of the two do you want me to release to you? asked the governor.
Barabbas, they answered.
22What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called Christ? Pilate asked.
They all answered, Crucify him!
23Why? What crime has he committed? asked Pilate.
But they shouted all the louder, Crucify him!
24When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. I am innocent of this man's blood, he said. It is your responsibility!
25All the people answered, Let his blood be on us and on our children!
26Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.
As a born-again Jew myself, I would say that the Jewish throngs under the leadership of the chief priests, handed Jesus over to the Romans to be crucified.
Not anti-jewish, just what happened according to the Bible.
Only psuedo-gods actually need religion..
It legitimizes them-->>(and their clergy)...
Bibically various animals represent various errors including snakes, but sheep pretty much is a universal prop to represent the biblical god.. That particular god does not allow the sheep to honor him/it anyway they choose.. but according to his dictates.. What are thise dictates.?.
Ask God.. or make up your own religion, its your life..
[ If there is only one God, then He is God for all, regardless of someones religion. ]
Can you prove that.?. and by what means.?..
Or is that your opinion.?.
Question: Who killed Yshua?
Answer: All who claim his shed blood for atonement for their sins.
It is a very limited atonement indeed.
Bshem Yshua

I'm always struck how some critics of the portrayal of our Lord and Savior nonchalantly revert to referencing Him in the past tense. A more significant aspect in this Church Age is that He is alive as man and divine, in a resurrection physical body, in the 3rd heaven and still in session as we read this. More significantly, unlike any other age in history we also are able to share in His presence.
I don't have a desire for a religion personally, I am satisfied with just a belief in the one God.
Just as no one does, I have no proof of God, just a belief...but I also have no need or desire for proof, or to convince others.
Mee Too...
I haven't specifically read that, but it wouldn't surprise me if the legion of liberal scholars who investigate these things had come up with such.
However, let's look at it rationally. If some late redactionist was going to expend the effort to forge such a thing, why would they be so obscure about it? As pointed out earlier, it is almost a footnote in his history.
Another reason the mention may be so fleeting is that Josephus was above everything a politician. The whole issue of Jesus' life and death was a big embarrassment to Rome. He may have wanted to make sure it was mentioned, but did not want to belabor it to the point where he annoyed his Roman patrons.
Those who focus their thinking on the body, naturally only focus on the physical aspect of our Lord's biological, bodily death. Those dead in the spirit, also know no other interpretation or significance of His death.
I suspect the violence done to Christ was performed in every soulish and physical fashion in a counterfeit attempt to distract Him from remaining faithful unto the Father. Much of it probably induced by demonic influence and/or possession of some of those witnessing the ordeal.
There was probably also considerable spiritual attempts to distract Him from His destiny.
The real issue, which we are also to emulate, is that He remained faithful regardless the temptations and distractions promulgated upon him prior to being judged by God the Father.
I'm not sure Jesus Christ was aware of of all aspects of the sacrifice being performed. When He declared, "My God, My God, Why have you foresaken me?" I suspect he had been judged and all sins of mankind had then been judged and at that point he endured the spiritual death (or state of existence involving separation) which resulted in the Father being consistant in granting eternal life and relationship with any man where righteousness was found. That righeousness found today in the faith through Him just as He was found faithful.
Exactly, in our unregenerate state we would have done the same thing were we in their position.

You are so right. We are all to blame.
It is so sad to see a post like this with so many anti-Jewish comments, isn't it?
Here's a better insight,...the Rapture of the Church still hasn't yet occurred,....upon completion of the Church, it will be removed as will be the Holy Spirit, then will come a 7 year period of Great Tribulation.
