I saw two doctors on Kasich's show last night. Both said they did not understand why an electrocephalogram had not been given, or an MRI. They said that the doctors had been "marginalized" in all this, and it would have been very easy to determine what was going on inside Terri's brain, if the court had really wanted to know. To me, it shows that Michael and the judge did not want to know the truth. They'd already made up their minds that they wanted to euthanize Terri, and they did not want these doctors throwing cold water on their decision.

I hope you don't mind a little correction, but I think that statement reads better that way. She wasn't dying until they took away food and water.

They are stonewalling

Even presidents don't get away with that forever.

The truth was stated 12 years ago when the doctors told MS that she was gone and there was no chance. He didn't believe them and continued this hopeless fight for another five or six years until even he realized there was no hope.

The lies around this case are sickening. The willingness of freepers to get sucked into them is even more sickening.

Like their is some mystery about what "is going on in Terri's brain."

I saw that too. One was Jacob Green, who is one of the docs who signed an affidavit saying she isn't PVS.

He was the one so angry, because he assumed an EEG had "never been done", even if an MRI couldn't without brain surgery. As you say, he said it would be such a "simple matter of hooking her up to a few wires" - he said the results would "put all these questions to rest".

Dr. Siegel said he thought there had been. Green got mad and said NO, there hasn't.

Jacob Green was wrong. Pretty amazing he missed all the multiple EEGs that were taken on her, the last one in 2002, considering he swore in the affidavit that he had "reviewed her medical history".

All her EEGs just added confirmation of her PVS diagnosis - either No cerebral activity or severely abnormal activity - no reaction to pain or stimuli.

If I believed the rumors flying so fast and furious, I'd agree.

(and no, I still did not support pulling the tube under those circumstances)

According to several reports and what I've seen on FOX, Terri has some metal implants in her thyroid. They were put in some years ago in an effort to stimulate them. With that metal in place, an MRI is not possible. A Positron Emission Topography scan (PET) is still possible...

I really believe that Terri's Therapy money won in a lawsuit was used to buy off the judge who sentenced her to death.Felos was paid about $500,000 by the husband in this case with another $100,000 or so going to a handful of other lawyers.It's enough money for the judge to get paid and maybe even enough for the husband to get a few bucks thrown back at him.Greer approved the spending of the money on legal fees instead of therapy.
