I am not a Jackson fan (and he does seem to love to just get attention).

BUT in this case--his heart is in the right place--and since he has been advocating for the life of this poor helpless woman. He has been very vocal, speaking out on the behalf of T.S. and since most on the left are NOT pro-life--he has been taking some flack for this.

So--in my opinion he has every right to be there. It probably won't help--but I don't see how it can hurt...

Damn, I hope he brings about 10,000 of his followers and shows us how to do this right.

A Texas gentleman I know was afflicted with a sudden paralysis.

The Rev. Jackson came and prayed over him.

To my knowledge Mr. Jackson never made a big deal over it, nor derived any material benefit.

So maybe there's a good side, even to him, a comforting thought but of course doesn't excuse all the other harm he does.

P.S. The afflicted gentleman eventually recovered fully.

His butt may be in the "right" place, but that doesn't mean he is doing it for the right reasons. Maybe he just wants the publicity. We can only speculate about what is really going on in old Jesse's "heart."

I have to agree with you. When one does right, for whatever reason, lets not knock it.

I agree. I would also like to note that the black caucus (is that what they call themselves?) mostly voted for the Bill to try to save Terri.
I would rather people support Terri now than never- but Jesse has spoken out in support of the Schindlers several times.

Jesse was on Scarborough Country tonight, and, as much as I dislike the man, his morals, and his mouth, I thought "...just maybe he can help". He was saying what we have said here, that not feeding Terri is murder. Yes, he's getting face time, and, no, I don't believe THEY called HIM, but maybe, just maybe, he can help before it's too late.

" But I don't see how it can hurt."

If you can't see that, maybe you should surrender your Driver's license to the DMV and get yourself a white cane.

Wonder if Jesse thinks it time he found another nitch - since the business of resolving racial conflicts is dwindling.

Do we have a new spokesman for those being murdered by the state and the right to kill crowd?

Indeed. When a bad person does a right thing, you still give them at least deference for doing the right thing. It doesn't mean I like the guy and I don't praise him for it, but his heart is in the right place and I won't bash him because of that.

I can't stand Jesse, but I must admit, he gets things done when no one else does. He better hurry, Terri doesn't have much time left.

I agree, the family has gotten no where with Congress and Jeb, so I don't blame them for doing everything possible under the circumstances.
