You won't be the only one. When they came out with the news that an autopsy would be preformed I figured they had found a Med. Examiner who could be bought. Unless they are going to do it somewhere other than Pinellas County.
Shine the light some more. The MSM is not reporting what an awful judge this guy has been.
"Polls don't mean a hoot to me (or to John Kerry either"
I doubt if he or his campaign manager agreed.
Now that's a good idea
I guess you missed that whole story about the exit polls on election day that had President Kerry dancing around in his Boston penthouse. Then the votes came in!
Interesting analysis.
Pride is what started the whole mess.
Pride goeth before a fall
(sarcasm)
/sarcasm off
[/sarcasm]
are just a few of the ways of seen it.
Sometimes I will even write, "surely I don't need to include the sarcasm tag, do I?"
...
For following the law as written by the Flordah Legislature, rather than becoming an activist judge with a social agenda.
Funny, but Pilate said that he was following the law also.
Pride comes before the fall, folks. Pride comes before the fall. I agree with those who surmise that Greer became entrenched in his position and would not admit that his original judgement was incorrect; instead he repeatedly made more rulings which were incorrect even as new facts came to light which showed he was ruling incorrectly. Then he sealed the records to protect himself.
His reprieve will be temporary, however, because as the records are unsealed he will be shown to be the stubborn, heartless, inconsiderate Judge who murdered a human being rather than review factual evidence to ensure that his decision was correct.
He will spend the remainder of his life thinking of his decisions in this case (unless he has no conscience).
The other courts which did nothing to mandate Greer to review the facts of the case will have to bear a burden for their decision. The one Justice on the Federal Court of Appeals in Atlanta will be proven right in his argument which mandated a full review of the facts of the case.
Were you being sarcastic?
Hmmm. let me see if I have this straight:
"All of us have gotten dirty, therefore we should throw out all standards and all jump in the sewer?"
ANSWER!!!! Congress clearly intended a De Novo hearing, but their wording (and lack of threat of impeachment) allowed a Judge to use is discretion to perform a De Novo review.
ie. they left a legal loophole for the Judge not to re-consider fact. In essence it was an appeal. ONLY Greer has heard (and Cherrypicked) fact.
Exactly what I thought. Can you imagine?
try this : </sarcasm>
"Should Congress pass a law to take away the right of poor Michael Schiavo to assert the stated desires of his beloved wife and end her awful agony?"
Or, are you referring to the polls that ask:
"Do you favor the bigamist Michael Schiavo starving his wife to death even though we don't clearly know what she wanted?"
That's what I thought too
The judge withdrew his membership from this church ....he was not asked to, or forced to, leave...He took exception to some pro-Terri stands in a church publication.
