An excellent post and I agree with you. The pro life movement would do well to find another spokesman. And to find a way to make a public apology to those Hospice patients.

It's probably too late but they need to find a way out of this PR nightmare they have created.

I agree. I saw this guy standing out there answering questions and he told the people to be quiet and only the press can ask questions. This was when he was one of the few people to see Terri, so the "normal" people wanted to know some things.

He looked like a total ass. He told them and this is verbatim, "you have to be quiet or they can't use anything that I say". That exchange told me all I needed to know about this character. He's not a good person to have on your side.

Your doom and gloom about the democrats is off, IMO. Just look at the liberals who are showing support for Terri. Nader, Jesse Jackson, Lanny Davis, David Boises, etc.etc. Hillary is silent.

The demos in the House were spilt. Barney frank is even backing away a little bit. The actions of these liberals are betraying the polls.

Also I think there is a creepiness factor with michael schiavo's lawyer, geroge felos, that doesn't sit well with the American people.

Me too. I usually answer them with "yes he loves them to death". I have a gut feeling that I know which teacher this is but I'm going to ask my youngest when I get a chance. He used to have long discussions with one of the history teachers at that school. Same one that quoted his winter reading list as: "I teach school, so I've read a lot, but I liked Howard Zinn's 'Voices of a People's History of the United States.'"

Actually, they're not. The details of the case do not make MS look good at all and many people do not go into this case wanting Terri to live and change their minds. Just the opposite, actually.

And then there's the fake memo. The Dems want that to go away as soon as possible. It served its purpose and they need to keep that under the shadows.
