Hillside refused to take her back after she was released from Kaiser because, care center officials said, Nome did not pay her bills.

I have a lot less sympathy for people who expect a free ride (read stick someone else for the bill) on health care. Health care is a commodity like any other, If you can't afford it because you spent all of your money on other things, then tough $hit. Do without.

I don't know if you've noticed, but they've been dragging this argument to a lot of threads lately. Hopefully this will soon end when the issue ends, but somehow I'm afraid not.

I agree with you but that philosophy should apply to all citizens.....hmmmm well it does. But it does NOT apply to illegals. They are not expected to pay their health care bills to start with, we are.
