There are serious constitutional separation of powers and state rights' issues involved in that specific law passed by Congress, and even if Greer were found in contempt of Congress over his refusal to abide by it, he would again survive since I have no doubt that the judicial system would strike the law down as unconstitutional (it really is on a number of levels).
He also broke the guardian ad litum laws.
He also broke the law in preventing DCF from following their legal obligation to investigate allegations of abuse.
That was a Federal judge who violated that law.
Greer, however, did ignore Congressional Subpoenas and should be held in contempt of Congress...but that probably won't happen.
