I think more Republicans are angry at him for the Terri situation than will admit it. You see it here on Free Republic, Raise your hands if you have seen a posting suggesting he was trying to deflect attention from ethics violations? If that is true what does that say about the rest of the GOP congressmen who were prepared to sit on their hands while she is murdered? How many are still sitting this one out?

Let's never forget that politicians are....well.......politicians!! WE must find more effective ways to hold them ACCOUNTABLE!! I think that the Florida legislature, which was the only place Terri could have gotten relief, was scared into inaction by the BOGUS polls run up the flagpole by the main stream media. Remember how the MSM tried to create a "bandwagon" effect for Kerry on election day by claiming that early exit polling data was showing HUGE margins for Kerry?? TOTAL FRAUD. They were unsuccessful in their efforts, but VERY successful with Terri by claiming that upwards of 80% of the people were for removing the tube. NOT TRUE!! As any thinking person knows, poll results are the EASIAST thing to manipulate!!! Just ask the right question to get the result you want. They used the polls to scare the politicians into inactivity and add one more notch in their CULTURE of DEATH totem pole!! Why would anyone believe the MSM after memo-gate????????????
