Allowing Terri to have water (by any means) would prolong the agony.
The husband removed the feeding tube, thru which went both food and water. He was within his rights to have the tube removed.
So sad... tragic....

Maybe the guy is a nut, but he did spend a lot of time with Terri Schiavo and his eyewitness is helpful unless we want to call him a liar or a fruitcake.

He's a doctor... a discredited one
You just can't handle it that this doctor has been thorough and produced a report that gives good info.
Why doesn't that make you happy? What's the problem?
He has not been discredited - just a wish of yours and you will dig up anything to prove a point. Has anyone done that to you?

There are other revealing data in the document but we don't expect you to read them since your stilt appears to be the same as Greer, et al of the 'Execute this useless eater' crowd. Your too smartaleck for your own good, brilliant by half. It is easy to scoff and ridicule fellow Freepers for your amusement, but damn difficult to do the homework in order to see the clear conflicts of interest that have denied Terri real due process of law.
Ah yes, find someone who's been in Terri's corner for the entire distance, who has publicly appeared on television arguing that what's been done to her is unbelievably barbaric, but who happens to note the truth regarding Hammesfahr, and instantly light into them and call them all kinds of insulting names.

He might very well be as true as God... but his credibility is lacking. This is a real problem in court. Terri's parents deserved better.
Thank you for these comments. Dr Cheshire's comments - it's a pity he couldnt be a witness in the 2000 trial itself, he might have made Judge Greer see the light.

It sounded like MS was a little impatient - "tapping his foot for 5 minutes." Terri ignored that sound.

Part of what we do on FR is to dig into evidence and look for truth. I'm sorry if this (promising) piece now has credibility issues. Now you know what the Dems / Left felt like when we trashed the 60 Minutes docs.
If you don't like examination of the posts here (are simply looking for "amens") then perhaps FR isn't your place.

I have a question that I certainly don't mean any disrespect to the Schindlers but I find it strange that in all that I have read I have never seen that they charge MS with abuse. I have never even heard them make the acquisition. It almost appears as if MS has something on them.
They were friendly through the malpractice suit. I gleaned from Sean Hannity tonight that the Schindlers were unaware of the broken bones etc until years later. What about the questions at the time with the emergency people? Could Schindlers have taken part in some questionable testimony during the malpractice trial in an effort to see to it that the money was there to care for their daughter and could MS be holding that testimony or something similar over them? Also, I have yet to hear The Schindlers comment on the desire for autopsy. They want her to have a Catholic burial and be buried in Florida.
For the record. I think this is legalized murder. Accidents happen and we don't get to choose, this woman was not terminal, there was nothing in writing and whether Michael likes it or not I believe his choice is divorce or stick by her--PERIOD. I am just astounded this is really happening. Never dreamed a spouse had the authority to take the life of a spouse and non-terminal at that. This has been an eye-opener!

Exactly what *pain* can a PVS person be in?
What pain and agony is Terri in and how can that possible be consistent with the PVS (mis)diagnosis?
And btw, dont you get how absurd you sound saying that giving someone water is wrong?
I am the guardian of my son, am I allowed to let him die from starvation if he breaks his neck and is unable to feed himself? Wouldnt that be abuse? How is it different here?
