As far as the Nobel Prize recommendation, this does not reflect on the Dr. but it does reflect on the Congressman. Physicians are seldom accused of humility--this doubly so when they have prominence and a long c.v.
I'm no doctor, but this report seems very careful, and studied. All findings are related with reference to current medical knowledge.
The narrative is easy to follow and gives a vivid description of the patient's state. I should think a report like this would be very useful.

If a Board Certified Neurologist mixes stripes with plaids , paints his house purple and drives a car covered with fake fur-it might make him a " loon ", as some here have described described Hammesfahr, but, they are mistakenly conflating social eccentricities and flamboyance with medical expertise.
