You are correct; there is a cabal of Indian loyalists/nationalists.

If China is regarded as a potential Frankenstein why should the US intentionaly create a second potential one in India ?

You're trying to compare the Indian Republic, which has regular elections and is the largest democracy in the world, you're trying to compare that to a COMMUNIST STATE??? Don't be silly. It's like saying Japan would be another Frankenstein.

but stuff like molecular nanoteechnology would

What the hick are you talking about? Molecular nanotechnology? You mean chemistry. Molecular level interactions have been done for centuries now (think cehmistry) and if you're talking about atomic manipulations -- DONE. Your entire gamut of supposed 'weapons' molecular nanotechnology, laser, EMG, GAMMA, etc and yeah, SPACE, don't forget space weapons is a dang silly list. Those are just leetle jargon words you've tossed in. The reason the US controls a large part of the world is down to old fashioned HARDWARE -- our NAVY and our Marines. Russian planes can match most American planes (except for the F22) and most armies can take on our army in a head to head battle (with no air support). Our NAVY rules.

Thought the UK does have their own population of left wing loonies (just as we do), their government has been a steadfast ally to America

Now you are backtracking. YOU said in post #191 "India also uses weaponry from Israel,France,Italy,Britain among others" Ah yes, until recently, our allies, who now, with the exception of Israel, appear to be turning their backs on the country that liberated them. India should be proud to be affiliated with such up-standing political correct turn-coats

SO, you THINK that Israel, Italy and Britain are turncoats?? so you THINK that you 'liberated' Israel or Britain???????

Don't make silly comments. Most of the other posts talking aobut India- China alliances etc. are equally daft.

Russia is notorious for agreeing to one thing and doing the opposite

Really???? Like what??? They ARE straight-shooters, mostly they do say things we don't like. BUt, to call them two-faced, is kinda silly.

Yeah, looked into it further and could not even find the story I thought implicated Indian particiption

Err... No comments. Why did you make the statement then?? Wrong opinions are fine, but wrong facts are unforgivable, dude.

You know Americans have this ego mentality. They freak out that Russia sells weapons to Venezuela - a nation which can be defeated in combat by the New York Police force (in other words its silly for the American superpower to freak out over the Venezuelan military) but when we sell weapons to another nation's mortal enemy like we sell to Pakistan and to Turkey, we Americans act shocked and can't understand why Greeks or Indians or such other nations get all angry at America.

We want to reward Pakistan for help against terrorisim? Drop trade barriers - help them with business loans, etc.

Now THAT makes sense.

when we sell weapons to another nation's mortal enemy like we sell to Pakistan and to Turkey, we Americans act shocked and can't understand why Greeks or Indians or such other nations get all angry at America.

The thing is that those weapons WILL be used against AMERICAN interests sometime in the future. That is certain. That's what makes the sale even more sillier.

Actually that's a very good analogy -- Greece and India. Both ancient civs, wracked by slamism, free themselves from it and become vibrant nations (ok, well, not really modern -- have you seen the traffic in Athens!! ;-P, but I'd rather have them with their own distinct cultures than just clones). And their enemies are nations that seem to only define themselves in the negative sense.

After reviewing your past posts, it is quite apparent you only get involved in posts involving India and Hinduism. Please correct me if I am wrong, but this shows a bias pure and simple.

Is there a specific list of topics that all freepers must comply with? As opposed to those threads that interest them?

Of course not! But don't you find it a little odd to only have a singular interest such as this? FR is about America, her politics, and place in the world. There are many topics, many discussions. Anyone with such a singular perspective looks to have an agenda in mind. This is not a FReeper mentality as I see it. This is only my opinion. Doesn't amount to anything important as I am just one in a very vast universe. I have many passions. To only have one is pathetic.
