What do the Statue of Liberty, Independence Hall, and Monticello have in common? The average American with a smattering of historical knowledge might say that those historic sites are all symbolic of America’s unique heritage of freedom.
Monticello, of course, was the home of Thomas Jefferson, the author of the Declaration of Independence. That document (as well as the U.S. Constitution, later) was signed in Independence Hall. The Statue of Liberty memorializes the free nation under God that those founding documents created.
What about the Great Smoky Mountains, Yellowstone Park, and the Grand Canyon? Well, these priceless natural resources are all managed by the U.S. National Parks Service. They are among the most frequently visited natural recreation areas in America, where millions of American families vacation every year.
Would it surprise you to learn that every one of these unique American landmarks is also controlled by the United Nations? It’s amazing but true. Every one of the natural and historic treasures listed above--plus more than a dozen more in America--has been designated an official World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which is headquartered in Paris, France.
Sites included in the World Heritage program are considered to have "outstanding universal value" as part of our common world heritage. They are designated as protected areas under the 1972 World Heritage Treaty, which is itself an outgrowth of the 1968 UNESCO Biosphere Conference -- where the currently ubiquitous concept of "sustainable development" first saw the light of day. . . . .

I just read an article in the local paper this past week that the Navajo Tribe has contacted UNESCO to have them make one of their "sacred" mountains protected by UNESCO so it won*t have any construction done on it. The reason they did it is because AZ wants to do something with it. It*s hard to believe that OUR landmarks and treasures are being put under UNESCO. New World Order, here we come!!
No treaty in violation of the Constitution has any authority despite what the maggots in govt would have you believe. This is a principal & agent thing. We The People (the principals) never delegated authority to abrogate the Constitution to our agents in govt. Period. Remember that the next time you talk to your congressrat.

Further, UNSESCO has these landmarks all over the world. And as far as I can figure out, it’s a sign that reads “UNSESCO blah, blah, blah,” and that is all. It’s like putting “Killroy was here” signs all over the place. One day when we’ve had enough of this UN nonsense, we can and will turn our backs on all this meaningless foolishness because that is what it is. What are they going to do? Send in the blue helmets?

I urge all to do something now - write - do not e-mail - write your Congressmen and your Senators to rescind all agreements with these un-elected Bureaucrats here in the USA and around the world. The United Nations is full of “blind trusts”, UNESCO for instance and thousands of agencies under the UN that are slowly eroding our Sovereignty and our unalienable rights. Our dollars, not theirs are paying for the preservation of these lands.

According to Clinton’s Order, “alien species means, with respect to a particular ecosystem, any species, including seeds, eggs, spores, or other biological material capable of propagating that species, that is not native to that ecosystem.” Most agricultural crops and animal species clearly fall within the definition of “alien.” Domesticated pets, many houseplants, and Kentucky bluegrass used in most lawns and golf courses are already defined as alien species. Indeed, this is all the greens and their allies in the federal government need to control all land in the U.S. Think the invasive species monster can’t get any worse? It already has. In 2001, the Invasive Species Council issued a management plan that states: “Council member agencies will work with the Global Invasive Species Programme (GISP) and other relevant bodies to expand opportunities to share information, technologies, and technical capacity on the control and management of invasive species with other countries, promoting environmentally sound control and management practices.” And just what is the Global Invasive Species Programme? A quick trip to the GISP website reveals it is: - The United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) - The United Nations Environmental, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) - The Convention on Biological Diversity - The Nature Conservancy - The International Union for the Protection of Nature - DIVERSITAS: An International Programme of Biodiversity Science (another UNESCO project) Invasive species legislation opens the door to federal and international control over private property in the United States. And that’s why greens in the Senate are trying to sneak it into the federal transportation bill -- without ANY proper debate. We are running out of time. Contact your Senators TODAY, TOMORROW, AND NEXT WEEK. The House version of the transportation bill has already passed and thankfully does NOT include any invasive species language. But the Senate version (SAFETEA 2005) DOES! Once again, the House is on the right track and the Senate is out in left field.
