g owes us one.
he shoulda been the u.s. senator from ny now.
he should run in 2006 and eliminate mrs. clinton from the u.s. senate, and thus, effectively from the u.s. presidency.

OMG, is that really Rudy in drag? Ewwwwww.
I like Rudy, but NOT for president. I think he should run against Hillary in '06.

Reporters had to ask somebody if they were running, Hell there wasn't a Clinton or Kerry to be found in the last couple of weeks. At least the coverage in Fla. was a way to shut up some Dems, if only for a while.

"he should run in 2006 and eliminate mrs. clinton from the u.s. senate, and thus, effectively from the u.s. presidency."
I keep reading this advice on this board but he would have to be nuts to try that. Beating her is no sure thing at all. Despite what Freepers what to believe, she is VERY VERY popular in her state. If he were to loose to her, his future political aspirations would be destroyed. If he runs for anything it will be Gov. or Pres. I guarantee he won't run for Sen. against Clinton. Beating her would do little for him and he would risk everything.

Yah, he showed up at a new years party in drag, it was a huge news event back then.
Some ultra-conservatives might get their panties in a bunch over it, but I think it shows the guy has a sense of humor.
That said, he isn't my choice for President, although I do hope he runs for Governor.

Rudy....YOU can be PRESIDENT of NEW YORK....but, NOT of the U.S.....I really don't think he's what we need!

Rudy is more liberal than I would like, but he is a class act. I would enthusiastically support him.
In May, 2002, one of the high schools in Somerset County, PA, invited him to be the graduation speaker. Somerset County is where American Airlines Flight 93 crashed on September 11, 2001. Mr Guiliani accepted the invitation and brought along an entourage of other NYC officials from that day with him. During the commencement exercises, he was subjected to a snotty valedictorian address, which was directed at the school administration and parents (not at Mr G or national issues), and I am told that he responded firmly and appropriately.
Yeah, his politics are further to the left than we FREEPERs would like, but I think that the Republic would be in good hands were he the Chief Magistrate.
