Itwas NOT peaceful. The priest who was there said she was frightened and her eyes were going from the left to the right rapidly and her breathing was very labored. Doesn't sound like a nice peaceful death now, does it? The lawyer is a liar (surprise!) and he has his own agenda. He's pro-death and a little nutty, IMHO.

Working as a nurse, I have had occaision to be at the bedside of many who are in the process of dying and at the final moment as well.

There is a truth felos will not tell you. No matter the circumstances, death looks the same on all. There is an ummistakeable look of death.

I have seen one exception. We had one patient who was not ready to die. He was afraid and there were family issues not resolved. He fought death until his last breath. I was something no one wants to witness.

I have never seen an exception to the look of death on the other end of the spectrum.

If the Priest says she was frightened, I believe him. In my experience, the eye movement he spoke of betrays the words of felos.
