Received an e-mail from the Christian Coalition announcing The Judicial War on Faith Conference to be held at the Washington Marriott on April 7th & 8th. They state their focus is "The Judicial Assault On Our Judeo-Christian Heritage, Judges: Abortion And Other Life Issues, Judicial Nominations, The Real Constitution, Remedies To Judicial Tyranny, Mobilizing The Grassroots, and The Decline Of Faith And What To Do About It".

Their guest speakers include Tom DeLay, Sam Brownback, Chief Justice Roy Moore, former Vatican Ambassador Ray Flynn, Alan Keyes, Phyllis Schlafly, Tony Perkins, Mike Farris, Howard Phillips, Bill Dannemeyer, Morton Blackwell, Bill Federer, Rick Scarborough, Don Feder, Kay Daly, Janet Folger, Jan LaRue, Tim Lee and Patrick Reilly.

Perhaps some of their speakers might be persuaded to mosey over if time permits.

Thanks, Starfan. Some of the speakers at the conference (not many from the list above, though) will be speaking at the rally.

I'm told at least two senators will be going to Friday's funeral for the Pope.

If you can get to Hamilton, NJ (train leaves at 6 a.m. from Penn Station NYC), you can get there for a cheap train fare ($15.50 round trip).

The $15.50 RT is between Hamilton and DC? If so, that is quite reasonable.

It's a van from Hamilton to DC. Guess who's driving.

You're being pinged to advise of a change in plans for the evening event of April 7.

Instead of meeting at the previously discussed restaurant (near our closely-held evening event per earlier FReepmails) at 5:30 or 6 for dinner, BufordP and I will join those FReepers from the March for Justice for dinner at the Cap City Brewing Company between 4 and 5 per Kristinn's post above.

Of course, any who are so inclined are still free to go to the original restaurant prior to the closely-held evening event.

That closely-held evening event was described to you via earlier FReepmails, but you can also check the private forum of http://www.dcchapter.com/forums/index.php for additional info. It that doesn't get you what you need, FReepmail me with any questions.

I can't make the dinner, but will be there tomorrow.

As usual, I can't think of anything catchy to put on a sign. Ideas?

$15.50 is supposedly the round-trip fare from NYC Penn Station to Hamilton. It'll be less from Newark if you can get there. Raoul picking us up at the Hamilton Station.
