In a move unlikely only because it's taken this long to happen, pundit-about-town Arianna Huffington is extending her hosting largess to the blogosphere.
This month the wannabe California governor is launching a Slate-like Web site where a cast of bigwigs, including Sen. Jon Corzine (D-N.J.), David Geffen, Barry Diller, Larry DavidLarry David, Tom Freston, Ari Emanuel, Jim WiattJim Wiatt Tina Brown and Harold Evans will each have their own blog from which to spout Big Thoughts about politics.

Does anyone take Huffington seriously? Did they ever? I'm just glad she's not associated with us anymore.
She'd have a better chance of success if she teamed with a cast of earwigs.
Only Variety would consider these to be bigwigs.
:::::YAWN:::::::::::::zzzzzzzzzzz
AIRianna Puffington........a waste of skin
Is it called "InsearchofthelostGaborsister.com?"
Arianna, go back to Greece and stay there.
Aw geez!!!! She's like a bad case of herpes: she never goes away :-(
What did she pull? 1/2 percent? She was never a serious candidate. It was just one big publicity stunt.
If journalists want to quote her they should refer to her as a "stuntress."
Oh, While youre at it, Arianna, take Tom Lantos with you and drop him off in Hungary.
Arianna, Sharpton, Kerry, Hitlery, Jackson, Bloomberg, Ted Kennedy, Bill CLinton...Makes me think that if these dirt bags can get somewhere in politics, I certainly can and so can every Freeper on this website.
Even the headline made me laugh.
I remember when she was Arianna Stasinopolos, president of the Oxford Union and stauch Thatcher supporter. Then she decided to chase cash, married Huffington and earned a pretty penny on her back.
Makes me have profound sympathy for Michael Huffington.
Big wigs, but tiny brains.
Wow, a new webiste to put up the voices of liberal elitists? Gee, I was just thinking the other day, we just don't hear enough from liberal elitists on the internet. I mean, they only have DailyKo$, AriannaOnline, AlterNet, Salon, Slate, MSN.com, MichaelMoore.com, Hardblogger, Wonkette, Olbermann's Blog, AmericaBlog,...need I go on?
/Sarcasm
Oh, crap! I forgot TomPaine, MoveOn, and of course DU. Nope, no libs at all online.
I remain firmly convinced that the only way Tina Brown got her job was because of the accent and the storied dinner parties that make or break the Manhattan Elite.
Is limolib.com taken?
Oh boy, you nailed it with the Big Wigs pic. Oh, the cast of the Huffington clown show must send intellectual shivers up and down Freepers spines.
Oh the Horror! The Humanity!
It's safer, after all, for liberals to bash the government than Hollywood.
Theres a difference????????????
